Just joined
My wife, Loni, and I are getting ready to hit the road full time after three years of now and then. We have found RV'ers to be a great group of very helpful people and willing to share information at the various campgrounds where we've stayed, and even some of the parking lots like Wal-Mart. We follow the 8-4-2 rule and have found it works well. 8-for cocktails, 4 for dinner,2 to sleep ;-)
we travel with three dogs and a cat. Dogs are in the 50-60 pound range and the cat tips the scale at about 16#. In a 31-footer without slides it makes for an interesting dance from front to back and back again.

Great that you have made the decision to move on with your life. Better that you chose RVing. This is a great site for solving problems and sharing experiences. I am glad to be the first to welcome you and hope you never need my advice
