First trip was Disney with no track bar and no sway bar (idiot- I had no clue) see my post in class a forums. I've been driving around town at max speed 55 for three weeks, and thought the handling was normal. Oh, forgot to mention black and gray valves were open when I took the cap off to hook up, splash! We've been boon docking in the driveway for 3 weeks to figure everything out, guess I missed a couple of details. 😷

Everyone is safe and the menagerie had a blast, so I guess that makes it all part of the adventure. I'm canceling my stress test because it happened on the Florida turnpike!

Experience is the best teacher, unfortunately it teaches us stuff , we weren't in a hurry to learn.
Doing a shake down stay in your yard is a great idea.
Hope you get your handling issues sorted out soon.

Welcome, our first camping trip was the driveway. Even though I have been camping for 40 plus years. Had to figure out how to use all the new to us MH and the location of stuff. Like switches that we had no clue what they did. I did have a stack of books that came with it and spent the evening reading and operating things.

I bet you know what positions the handles need to be in.

Thanks to everyone for the empathy. Can't believe anyone would hand me the keys to this thing and let me get on the road! At least it's not a Learjet! It's all about the wife and kids, and they're thrilled. Finding a beach week after next. Somewhere between Daytona and Jacksonville... Any suggestions for waterside sites?
