Just joined today.

Hello all. I feel kind of awkward joining an RV forum when I don't even own a camper, yet.
My wife and I did an improptu camping experience in the White Mountains of New Hampshire and slept in the back of our Minivan. Well, needless to say we liked it and wanted to upgrade. I am interested in buying a truck camper. You know the kind that mounts onto the truck bed and extends over the truck cab. It is my intention to haul my motorcycle behind the truck also.
So I have joined this forum to get all the help, tip, & pointers that I can from folks who know a lot more than I do about camping.
My appreciations,
Sincerely,
Jim aka "Horizonchase" Hey! I had to think of something as a username.

Hello and welcome. I couldn't have said it better than damdannyboy....Rving is an adventure. Like alot of folks here, the Dw and I started off camping in a tent. ( On our honeymoon in Florida during the summer...that's when I knew I had a keeper! ) Ask all the questions you got. Someone will have the answer most of the time. ALthough I've never had a truck camper, ( tent to class C to trailer to class A ) I'm sure someone can offer some help as you start your search. Buying an RV is alot like dating...."looking is half the fun! "

Dan
