Just on board the site! Bus Conversion Family..

Hi all.. we are new to the forum, from the Dallas, TX area.. Our current RV is a bus conversion built on a 1992 Flxible Metro, not as luxurious as the new girls but she's fun and we can afford her! LOL It's used primarily as a weekender as we boondock at the dirt bike races a couple times a month, but we mix in a longer trip or two here and there. We are leaving in a few days for California to visit family and hang in San Diego for a bit.

So that said, I found the site looking for some generator troubleshooting help and thought I would take a minute to say hello!

Thanks everyone for the welcome and for the kind words. She is a work in progress and as with most things, looks better in pictures than she does in person. The interior is almost a hundred percent, and I have finished all of the systems. The coach was converted when I purchased it but unfortunately, not a very good job. It took basically a year as time permitted to correct all the plumbing and electrical to where it should be, and 2 change the interior to its current layout. I certainly do not think that a Transit bus is the best platform for a conversion, but being low to the ground it drives really well, and it's Unique, the price was right and we liked it. Next in line is a wrap for the outside, to cover up the blemishes and wake up the look a little bit. The bus has a long way to go, but we use it a lot and definitely enjoy it. We Boondock at the races at least twice a month so it does not sit idle very long. Looking forward to the great information on this site.
