If my ability to navigate this site is evidence of my success at RVing, may God help us all. I hope this is the correct way to check in so here goes: I am recently retired ADA from the State of Maine relocating to everywhere via RV trailer. Pompano Beach and St. Augustine will be "home base" to avoid Maine income tax on my pension. I have no experience and will be picking up my new 2011 30 foot unit on Monday in Indiana. So be warned that I will be out there next week in my first haul from Indiana to Florida. Hope the winds stay calm and the snow stays in Canada.

Jim, welcome to the forum. The biggest problem with RVers is they are so darn friendly! Enjoy your new camper.

Hi Jim! Welcome to IRV2! We're really glad you joined us! Don't worry, you'll do fine with the new rig. Feel free to ask any questions that come up. Just be sure to put them in the proper area of the forums. Not too many people hang out here. Good luck, Happy New Year, and may God bless & keep you!

Welcome Jim, glad to have you on the forum. Pompano and St Augustine are both great places. Tell a little about your new trailer and maybe post a few pictures. The road to Florida should be fairly safe. My Aunt Dottie no longer drives and the road hazard no longer exist. But still be careful, there's a lot of 'em on the road just like her - particularly in S. Florida. A few of them can actually still see.
