My wife and I are prepping a classic coach to do a little living in. We will be heading to the south and plan to stay in the rv for at least a year.
I have signed up for this forum for some advice on rving.
I am new to the rv lifestyle. My first rv was a 23 foot class c. Took on one trip. Not happy with the rig. Got a classic 31 foot class a with a generator. much better.
In the rv will be my wife, me and two cats. It will be quite an experience.
I will try to get in and read the forum at least once a week and get to know a few of you.
Until then see ya.

Hey its just Dan. Your signature says your "stuck in Arizona". What part are you stuck in? I worked/lived in the valley for 12 years before moving to the midwest.
My daughter returned to Az last year and is working at the Grand Canyon.

histroyljc,
Thanks for the welcome, I never had one quite as cheerful as yours. You made me feel welcome.
I am headed to the San Antonio area in hopefully before Labor Day. The two cats are "Pretty MaMa" a charcoal grey short hair that was born to a stray in our yard. She (Pretty MaMa) later had a litter and the sole survivor of the litter is a long hair charcoal grey cat named Fuzzy.
Its a 1979 Pace Arrow Good body and paint. I rebuilt the trans, gave it a brake job, I am trying to get everything in operating order and looking good.
It may be old, but it is mine, it is paid for, and I will take good care of it.
My wife and I installed new carpet last week we finished and now I am making sure the water system is up to snuff.

RV Wizard,
I am going to take you up on your invitation, I do have a question for you.
I see you are certified master rv technician.
I am thinking about changing careers and becoming an rv tech. I have been a certified mechanic for years, but I am considering switching over to become an rv tech.
How exactly does one get certified in rv mechanics? Is there a school, or a web site with the necessary information.
Or is this field "on the job training" along with factory schools?
Any information to get the ball rolling would be greatly appreciated.
