Welcome to the irv2 gang, Ron! You can't go wrong with this set of forums. Folks here are really knowledgeable and helpful. They were our primary source of information while we conducted our 12 month search for motorhome options. Good luck and enjoy the search!

Thanks for the replies!!!
Yes, we will certainly keep an open mind when it comes to different types of coaches. We are taking a look at all the coaches we can to see the layouts, front kitchens versus mid kitchens and the fit and finish in each one. This weekend, I hope to get a look at a 2008 Tiffin Phaeton 36QSH with 31,000 miles on it in Fife, Washington. We also made a call today on a 2008 Phaeton 40'er currently in South Dakota, with 31,000 miles as well. My wife's concern is that the couple have been fulltiming in it since new so she wonders what the interior condition is really like. Photos of it were from 3 months ago and it sure looked well kept to me.
More shopping and research to do,
Ron

I wouldn't worry too much whether someone has fulltimed or not. We've found that people who LIVE in their coach generally take really good care of their HOME. What is REALLY important is the maintenence records. Without those I would be extremely gun shy, plus you're not going to purchase something of this expense sight unseen. Fit & finish is almost impossible to discern from pictures. But certain builders have a reputation for quality workmanship, while others try to sell the flash, without substance. Just keep doing your research and you'll be able to separate the haves from the have nots.
