Welcome to irv2... and welcome to the Lord's family, also.

In California, at least several years ago, many of the state campgrounds had services conducted by local churches coming to the campground. It has been a few years since we camped regularly at state campgrounds, so I don't know how widely spread this practice may still be in our state.

Knowing we are going to be in a community over the weekend, we usually scout out some of the local churches and pick one to attend on Sunday. Some of our most meaningful worship services have been in those churches.

Best wishes, and God bless you as you seek to worship Him, even on vacation.

rosser422, welocme to iRV2. We are glad to have you join us here and we look forward to reading of your adventures and experiences. We spent a summer in the Pigeon Forge area and the Ripplin Waters Campground had services on Sundays. I thing that in this area (Bible Belt) this could be a common practice. You might check out the camground review area for this info too. Good luck and God bless.

A lot of the private and state park campgrounds we have stayed at hold Sunday services. Twice a year we also have a large family campout at a campground run by the Church of the Brethern. You could also look into something similar.
