For better or worse, we took delivery of our 2003 Shasta Revere yesterday. Made it about 15 miles before the weather stripping came off the passenger side cantilever. Scared the bejeezuz outta me. Got home safe, cleaned it up a bit, and ready to go!!! Now I just need to try and remember the 5,000 things the salesman showed me for the walk-through..Hope to see you all out there!!!

MNpederson:

Hello, and a BIG WELCOME to the iRV2 bunch. Nice to have another Minnesotan aboard. Mom and sister live in Mpls. and we return visit often, usually staying down a Dakota Meadows RV Park (Mystic Lake). We're originally out of Duluth but changed residency to my wife's home area in Mitchell, South Dakota, and after selling our home and "stuff" we now are on the road FULL time. It's a HOOT!!

Again,...WELCOME!!

Steve & Lynette

At least you got a walk-through! We just purchased our Monaco from "Motor Home Specialists" in Alvardo, TX (Dallas area) and at first they wanted to tack on an extra $1200 charge for a walk-through, which when I complained they dropped to $600 or so... When I said I was not prepared to fly 1200 miles to Dallas to buy a coach and not even get a walk through I was promised one (for free), but that never happened. We have had the coach a little over a month now and I have learned everything I know by reading the manuals and searching on this forum. I plan to travel to another Monaco dealership sometime this summer and ask them for a walk through of features.
