Hey yall,
Im relaxing/ working at a place called castaways rv resort. The finally got thier WIFI up working. This is the first time ive joined any online RV community... Have any of yall hear of castaways? apperently its a pretty nice place...

Welcome to the boards! We look forward to hearing about your adventures of full-timing...you lucky dog! Many of us only dream about the life of leisure..waiting for the day when it will come true!

The topic on this thread says "Lake Conroe" - by any chance is this the lake near Houston, Texas?

I haven't heard about Castaways RV Resort, but would be very interested in getting your input IF indeed it is near Houston.

Our Texas Boomers group is always on the lookout for neat places to camp for a weekend event!

Yep! its near houston..ish. Its about a 45 minute drive up I45 near the city of Conroe (actually located in willis) Its a really neat little joint.

I would welcome any information about the park - you are there and can describe it better than any website! Check with the office and see if they have a website addy. Who knows...the Houston area group may head up there one of these weekends for an outing and meet up with ya'll!!!
