Post Long time reader, first time writer

I'd like to say hello to those I don't know but share quite a bit with it seems. I have enjoyed the outdoors for many years and now I've decided to make adventures a bit easier by having it all loaded and ready to go at any time by finding a vintage travel trailer.

Like all things with the term vintage attached to it, there's little things that need to be addressed. I've been coming to these forums for quite some time to do research and learn what I would be getting into and what things a new to me trailer may entail.

I must thank those that had the insight to post messages similar to.... the little damage that you may see drastically changes when you inspect further. For those that may be getting into the vintage trailer or even damage trailer rebuild/restoation or just a little fix-up - take that statement to heart and believe it!

When I got the trailer, it looked good. Had obvious issues but all things were in generally good condition other than water issues at vent and windows. I have since started on it along with a blog so that I don't hold people hostage in my posts and people can obatin info at their leisure. Check out the blog here - Forester fix up

I hope to use the site, and my new friends, as a resource for my project. Also to share the good, bad, and ugly of restoration. When the project is completed, I'll move to adding adventures of actually using the trailer.

Thanks all in advance for your insight, resources, sharing, support, and time. Happy Camping!
