Long time reader from Northwest Wisconsin
Hello Folks,
I have been a lurker and reader ever since my wife and I sold our toy hauler about 2 1/2 years ago. We sold the toy hauler because it wasn't big enough to be convenient for interstate travel. We really needed a large fifth wheel with a separate garage. These large fifth wheel toy haulers really demand a dually TV and the price range is more than we wanted to pay for the combo. So, we decided to go a different route. After a lot of research on various forums and attending numerous shows in the area, we finally settled on a dealer and a model. Two days ago the salesman called to let us know that the 5er we ordered arrived from Indiana and today we went to check it out. After spending 3 hours looking it over and trying out everything that we could, while it was parked in the lot, we have decided we made a good decision for us. Next weekend will be all the final PDI checks and finishing up the paper work. Let the adventures begin!!! Oh, and one surprise my wife and I, or the dealer wasn't expecting, it is a 2017 model!
A huge Thank You goes out to all of the generous posters who have shared their past experiences and knowledge on this forum! It has been a big help being able to search for and find answers to our many questions throughout this process. The Olsens

Thank you to all!
Thank you for the warm welcome! Don, we love to visit the Door County area, so we get over to your side of the state whenever we can. We haven't been there since we sold the toy hauler, but would like to visit again in the future. Our daughter is in the Hartford area and we would like to camp near there the end of May or beginning of June. Maybe in the state park on the east side of Hartford. I know you are not very close to Hartford, but would you happen to know of any other RV parks near there?

David;
Sorry I can't answer your question on camping in the Hartford area. I usually have to refer to the Good Sam RV Travel Directory. Enjoy the upcoming camping season.
