Longtime camper, 1st post

Hi,
I've been a member for about a year but this is my 1st post. I read these forums for several years even before becoming a member.

Like many others, we started in a tent, then popup, then 20 foot TT for a couple years. Then when the economy in Michigan tanked out (late 70's) we moved to Georgia.

Unfortunately, that resulted in starting new careers that didn't produce enough money or time to allow camping. We did manage several quick 'flying to resorts type' vacations to see other parts of this country and the Caribbean.

Finally in 2001 we bought a 30 foot TT. Then 2008 we moved up (?) to a 30 foot B+. Now for 17 months we have our 39 foot Gulfstream DP. Now being retired, we are wondering (as retirees warned us) how we ever had time to work. It's GREAT.

Hello and Welcome! Congratulations on retirement and new rig. Yes retirement is a good thing. Hasn't been a full year for us, but have been enjoying it. You are not far from us, hopefully we will meet on the road someday. Happy Travels.
