THere are two outfits that come to mind. KOA and Jelly Stone campgrounds seem to cater to children. See if any are in your area.

There are several Yogi Bear Jellystone Campgrounds in Illinois. Google "Yogi Bear Jellystone locations" and you'll get the information.

We've taken our grandson twice to a Yogi Bear Jellystone near us and he had a ball. Lots of activities and 'most' of the activities are included -- no additional charge

Hi, welcome to IRV2. I can't help with the campgrounds, but the folks here are giving you a good starting point. Have fun and safe travels.

Hi,

Thanks for the referral. Since we're just starting out with camping, I'm not sure which ones we should look into. I know there are certain private campgrounds where you have to be referred in and unfortunately that's been a problem for us because we don't know anyone that can refer us to one. I also forgot to mention we would really like to camp near the water/beach. We love swimming, fishing, boating, etc. and the kids would love to play on a sandy beach.
