The wife and I have been rv'n for about 10 years and reside in northern California. Currently own a Bighorn 5th wheel. Been retired 10 years and love it, long as the money holds out. Most travel has been in the western US, but planning a trip back east. Am really looking forward to hearing how other members deal with the inevitable problems that pop up. I've found that fellow rv'ers are the best source of problem solving. Love to flyfish every chance I get, especially during our travels. Always looking for helpful tips on gear and locations.

Where abouts in the east anywhere near New York State Ausable River has some great fly fishing in spring and early summer Close to White face and all Olympic venues in Lake Placid as well. Here is a link to a KOA close to the river KOA: Adirondacks: Whiteface Mountain/Lake Placid/Wilmington/Ausable River: Camp If you like trout fishing great place

On your way east stop at Navajo Dam in northern New Mexico. The San Juan river just below the state park is some of the best fly fishing in the country.
The State park is a great place to park the rig for about $14 a day.
