Loving this RV

Hi folks...We are new to the world of RV travel (well sort of), going into our 3rd year. Carl is twice retired; first from US Navy and second retired electrician from Pirelli Tire Company. We have both been enjoying retirement since 1999 and our motor home has made traveling so much nicer and more comfortable than the automobile/motel stuff. We look forward to learning more "tools of the trade" and appreciate sites like iRV2 for the information and friendships that can be made.

Greetings to all,

Carl & Nikki;

Welcome to iRV2. Thank you for your service to our Country. Post often and don't be afraid to ask questions as we have a great group here who like to help when they can.

Don

A little new at this type of communication and not sure if I'm doing it right. Don't know if I'm replying to each post or all with this reply. So, here goes...Jim and BJ asked about our rig and travels. We travel in our 1998 National TW, 37' diesel, Toad 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4WD, Even Brake. So far we have traveled to OK and back to CA, to MT and back to CA, along with several trips to the San Diego area and Desert Hot Springs from our home in Hanford, CA. This just in the last 2 years. We travel with our 2-year-old, Green Cheek Conure that is! Mostly we have traveled to visit with friends and family, but I think we will finally be starting to go just to visit places we have never seen before.

As for posting often, Don, we will try. Don't always have internet on the road, but will try to keep up when we are home as well. This site is a little overwhelming, with so many things to read and learn about, so it may take me a little time to get the hang of it.

Thanks for your support and help,
