low water pressure

Hi all. I'm a new member. I hope you guys can help me. I have a 2003 Monaco Dynasty. I'm in a park in Amarillo, Tx. The water pressure is good, and I have a new pressure reducer on the hose. When I turn on the water it starts out fine but slowly loses pressure. Any ideas? thanks larrymac09

Check to make sure your outside sprayer/shower fixture is turned off. Is your water pump running? And welcome to the forum!

If it's the cheap (Under $10) flow restrictor type rather than a true regulator, you probably will not be happy with the performance.

I've seen this happen in full parks before. Does it do the same thing at the spigot?

If your coach has a water filter check to see if it is clogged up.

Make sure your "fill" handle is off as well. Those weak plastic levers strip and look like they're in the right positions, but are actually bleeding water pressure into the fill tank.

Welcome Larry!!!
From the beginning...
tank fill valve off
The lil blue "pressure restrictors" are crap, throw it way if that is what you have.
your water pump off if you are hooked to campground water.
I always use one of those blue filters on my hose.
My monaco has a "whole bus filter" oddly, it is located in the little bay on the passenger side.
i also have a pur filter under the kitchen sink, filters the cold water at the sink, and for the fridge.
I change all three filters annually.

There is also a filter screen at the inlet to the water pump. Clean it often, but it's not an issue if you are hooked to water.

I also have a filter screen on my water hose, which is attached to the coach on an electric reel, clean that one too.

Hi Larry, welcome to the forum. I believe JimM and the others have pretty well covered the answers for your question.
