Question LP generator service on 2002 Journey

Help!
I would like to check and change the oil on my generator.
The generator is an Onan 6500 LP mounted in a 2002 Journey.
It is in the front middle with no slide.
I have got to believe that to check the oil, add oil or change the oil I should be able to do this without dropping the generator from the frame.
I know that access to the oil level and fill along with air filter is on the driver side panel/cover that needs to be removed.
There is not a lot of room to remove this panel.
Does anyone know what the standard practice is for accessing this LP generator on a 2002 Journey?

Thanks. Sounds like the LP generator. Panel on driver side only has about 2" to the frame. Requires working in the blind. I'll have to see if I can get the cover off as described in the link you sent.

Sorry for the very late reply. The info helped and I got the cover off. Because of the limited space I got a small hand pump from Harbor Freight and used it to refill the oil. I now know how to do the maintenance myself.
