brand new to this forum, been rving for many years. Now own a 94 winnebago vectra diesel pusher. Enjoy doing my own maintenance. Willbe changing trans oil next week and going to a synthetic. Would like to know if anyone has done a complete change the first time. I was told that if you disconnet the oil cooler return line from the transmition you can start engine and pump out the remaining old oil in the torque converter. Anyone tried this procedure?

Welcome to the forum. You'll find plenty of help here, but you'll probably want to post questions under the "Manufacturers", "Chassis" or "RV Systems & Tech" forums. I've had great deal help from nice folks with much experience.
You can even do a detailed search and find people who've had similar issues.

Best of luck and safe travels!
