My husband Ryan and I have 3 sons and a 6 year old boxer named Zeke. We are in at our 3rd year of camping and are loving it. We have run in to a few problems here and there but have found that our fellow campers are our best source of help. We camp in Ionia, MI which is about a 40 minute drive from where we live. It has a nice lake and lots of woods for exploring.

Welcome.. I'm out of state just now (or is it that I'm in the State of Confusion just now...) But I camp near Flint most of the summer (2/3 Davison 1/3 St. Clair)
We full time.. Welcome to our group.. If you ever need help, holler, I read lots and lots of owner's manuals
Nice to have another Michigan family with us! Ionia is a great town! Come a little further west to my town of Grand Haven and camp on the lake. Can't beat it
I like to hit the state parks at Harrisville and Tawas. Harrisville has set aside a no leash zone on the beach for dogs. Frisbee, frisbee, frisbee. Tawas has great scenery and a terrific beach as well.
Enjoy Michigan and welcome to the site.
