Mike in Pittsburgh

Doing repairs on my 2008 Fleetwood Providence. Great RV, rides 10 in seatbelts, seats 12 in the main living space. Looking for an upgrade, maybe a bit bigger. Anyone visited the Fleetwood factory in Decatur?

Welcome aboard Mike and good luck shopping. It sounds like you are looking to buy used. My advice is always to buy a coach from a high end builder. Some of which would include Country Coach, Newmar, American Coach, Monoco, Travel Supreme, and Holiday Rambler just to name a few.

Mike;

Good luck with your search for your next RV. My advice is the review the service records carefully before purchasing. Browse the forums that interest you and don't be afraid to ask questions. Winnebago is a worthy coach builder also and they have tours of their manufacturing facility in Forest City, IA. Post often and share you new RV upgrade with us.

Hope to buy a good used class A. Parked mext to a Tiffin in Florida and the owner advised a punch list of over 180 problems. I'd just as soon have all the 'new' issues resolved before I own it. My used Fleetwood had some issues but none were major. It was my first serious motor home and has really become a home to us.
