Monaco Diplomat 2004 Water Pump Relay Switch

Water Pump switch stopped working on 2004 Monaco Diplomat. Lots of troubleshooting myself, then took to RV fixit place. Checked fuses, fuse panel in bedroom, chassis fuse panel, monitor panel, behind all panels.

Book says the 3 switches work thru a relay, which is in the left side of compartment underneith, next to water pump. Nope. Calls to Monaco, they say there was a production run where the relay was mounted behind the cover. Nope - not there. Had to mount a switch in the compartment to get the pump to run. Have to go outside every time we turn the pump on & off. My fixit guy has talked to Monaco numerous times over the last 3 months, & they say it has to be behind the panel in the compartment where the pump is. My guy took off all the covers, & I have seen myself that it isn't there.

Seems crazy that I have to live with this. Anybody know anything about it?

Anybody have a wonderful repair facility in the Atlanta area with wizards who can figure out this sort of thing?

Thanks for any help.

Sorry to hear about your issue. I am sure someone will come along with additional ideas.

Hi! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

Sorry I can't help with your problem. Our coach has a water pump switch in the kitchen, another in the bathroom, and another outside in the wet bay.

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

There may be 2 devices. There is an Intellitec water pump controller:

https://www.amazon.com/Intellitec-00.../dp/B0176TO7RO

Then that feeds a 87 or 87a relay:

https://www.amazon.com/2x-Power-Acce...Bosch+87+relay

At least the controller will be there since you have multiple switches.

I think I'll change directions here. Does anyone have an RV maintenance facility in the Cummins/Gainesville/Atlanta or surrounding area that they love that could likely fix my problem? I've heard lots of negative reviews of facilities in this area, but no positive ones.

Come on! Who do you love that does great work?
