Most Economical State to Register Motorhome

Thinking about becoming a Class B Motorhome owner and am wondering if there is flexibility in which state a motorhome is registered?

Registration fees in New Hampshire are very expensive.

Thanks

Reg fees

Haven't done the research but can't wait to hear from other RVers.
I live in SC and my registration is under $200.00 per year. But I paid under $25,000 for my Class A .

Lots of posts on this subject but the reality is that it should be registered in the state your reside.

There are threads where people have made an LLC to register their coaches in Montana but there have been some states cracking down on this.

If you are not a full timer then your options are quite limited. You need to see what the New Hampshire residency laws are and then go from there. Vehicle registration is not something that can be done on a pick and choose method.

Hi! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

As others have said, you will be asking for trouble if you try to register it in a state other than where your official residence is! The only way you might get away with it is if you own property in the other state.

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
