Motorhome Newbies

My wife and I recently retired and we just picked up our new 2016 Thor Tuscany 36 MQ and are trying to learn the ropes of motorhome ownership. Been back to the shop twice and still having entry door, washing machine and refrigerator issues (among other smaller). Dealers response is that we call the components manufacture....not the start we were looking for.

Currently in Illinois and thinking to head to Thor manufacturing in Northern Indiana since General RV cannot/will not fix issues.

Guess I just figured out my new retirement hobby......

Any advice for getting repairs appreciated..

Welcome! Sorry that General RV isn't coming through for you. Shame on them. I would definitely pass by Thor because they should be able to take care of you and your new coach. Let them know how General treated you after the sale. They need to know. Safe travels to many great places!!!

Congrats, I would just go to the factory if it is a reasonable distance. Have many safe and happy travels.

Welcome!
Get those issues resolved, but learn how they are fixed, too.
That way when something else goes aloof later on, you will be able to fix it yourself.

And as said before, let the manufacturer know how the dealer treated you!

Glad to have you here in the forum with us.

If it's not far, take it back to the factory. They'll make it right. Dealers are notorious for just making the sale. A few are good service companies.

Happy Trails!!!
