Hello everyone. We just purchased a 2004 Revolution 40D with 3 slides. We loved our Mobil Suites 38RL3 but old age and my wife's neck and back problems prompted us to get the Revolution. We plan on more shorter trips and being able to move around and lie down while going down the road is really going to be beneficial to her! We look forward to being a member here and will probably ask for some assistance in the near future.

Congrats on your new purchase. We purchased our 04 Revolution around 9 months ago. We certainly are enjoying ours.

Enjoy & Welcome to the forum!

bigdgr, glad to have you here & congratulations on your new-to-you Revolution.

One caution, if you're thinking of having your wife lie down on the bed while going down the road, that is not a safe position should you have to make a panic stop or are in an accident. Even moving about, which is something many of us have done, is not wise. I actually don't get up to make sandwiches or get drinks anymore. I pack a small cooler with the stuff & keep it in the cockpit between our seats. Even bathroom breaks are kept until we pull into a rest stop or WM parking lot. Be aware of the consequences.

Welcome aboard. I have only been a member of these forums for a couple of weeks now, there is a lot of good info here, also not as opinionated as another forum I belong too.

.......Welcome to this great site BIGDGR, you and yours will really like this site, and congrats are in order for your Revolution, F/wood makes a really good quality m/home. From one Tenesseean to another, welcome again.
Since your in the vacinity between Knoxville and Jellico, give this member a shout, he is looking for info on a short rest over while coming south. I just read his post and thought of you.

Stopover in Kentucky along I-75?

As advised by another member, please be careful with DW while driving, moving around or not in a seat/belt while in motion is dangerous. We all are guilty of it, I just really krenge when DW gets up for a bathroom break, I know I should stop, and we try real hard to make it to rest area's or truck stops if possible. Good luck and travel safe, let's hear from you often.
