The three most important factor in choosing a MH is floor plan, floor plan, and floor plan. After that you might consider manufacturer's reputation. Oh yeh, price is somewhere in there someplace.

Assuming you are buying new, the first consideration is the floor plan that best suits your needs. Length can come into play depending on where you plan to stay and what you are pulling. Price of course comes into play too. These of course all come into play when buying used, with other considerations.

All RV mfgs use the same alliance and internal system mfgs and if you go gas, you will get a Ford F53 chassis. So to me, it boilds down to the coach itself and the quality of the interior and perhaps certain options.

All this said, the actual coach mfg would be down on my list.

Hi Bob! Welcome to IRV2! It's great to have you join us!

We too went to a Class A after pulling a 5er for 10 years. We love our Windsor! Enjoy the forum!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

I'll issue a slight correction , DW , liking the floor plan.
Made the switch 3 years ago after 4 , 5ers. No regrets. Level floor throughout and storage were our biggest pluses.

Welcome Aboard. I'm sure whatever manufacturer you choose, you'll be happy with the Class A.

Welcome to the group, Same here, after 12 plus years of pulling a 5er, we steped up to a class a and our biggest thing, was the floor plan, 2nd, bedroom layout, 3rd, bathroom layout. Looked for over 4 months before settling on what we have. So don't be in a rush, check the roof and all skylights for leaks and last thing, make sure the tires are fairlly new.

We looked for a price in our range, then reliable manufacturer, then floor plan in that order. We have a 5th wheel and are waiting on our Entegra Aspire to be finished. Before we decided on the manufacturer, we visited the company o get a feel of how they assembled one.
