My wife, Kiki (Kathryn) & son Bobby took the BIG step in MH adventures for us. Purchased it with most options (Workhorse chassis)& added KingDome auto sat. dish & Doran Pressure Pro tire monitor system. Have made a few 1-2 day trips for shakedown & am ready to enjoy some new scenery !

Congratulations on your new RV. We just got a new Itasca also. Let us know what you think of the King Dome and the tire monitors. I've seen the ads for the tire pressure monitors and have been curious how they work and if they are worth the expense.

Thank You All for the warm welcome. I'm sure we will have many questions in the future. We have really enjoyed reading the back posts & learning as much as we can from those with experience.

Robert & Kiki, Congratulations on your new motorhome and enjoy it in good health. You will enjoy the RVers along the way as they are very helpful. Have fun and travel safe.

Congrats on the new MH and welcome to IRV2.

Our first motorhome was a 2003 Itasca Suncruiser 33V and it was a nice RV. I'm sure you'll enjoy yours as much as we did ours. I installed an in-motion dome on ours as well as tire pressure monitors. Those are good choices.

Enjoy!!!

Real peace of mind for me knowing the tires are inflated properly & not having to manually check the pressure weekly is real nice. So far the Doran Pressure Pro is my favorite "upgrade".
I have the KingDome (9702) auto find but not track in motion (upgradable). Gotta Love access in a few minutes without any hassle.
Looking for a nice air pump/tank next. SEARS has one that will do 150 lbs pressure with a 1.5 gal tank (AC only) that I have been looking at. My tires are 19.5 and only take 75/85 lbs pressure.
I have an amateur radio license (N7SLD) so we will also be adding an Icom 706 MK2G radio soon (already own).
Thank You all for the warm welcome & any advice...

Now at 15000 miles for the year! Had a lot of great times & trips. Last month we had 4 - 125W Kyocera solar panels installed, 4 - 6v U2200 batteries (total 450A), Magnum MS2000 True Sine wave converter with 100 amp 3 stage charger built in, & Outback mx60 solar controller. With decent weather we only have to run the gen for microwace & AC....
We have had one muffler come apart, 1 spark plug wire fail, & several very small easily repairable problems - A Great first year for us part timers!

WOW! Thanks Mike, that would be a great upgrade for us. Anything special about the install besides cutting plywood panel ?
