My Intro

Just registered with the site (obviously). My DW and I are empty nesters with all eight kids living independently and employed. We told them all that when we retire we intend to live with the one who was the least successful so they are all working very hard on doing well. As regards our RVing experience, we started with a tent, went through two tent trailers, next a micro Class C (Toyota motorhome), then another tent trailer, then a conventional TT, next a 32' 5er, and now we've gone to an Aliner.

MY DW is in charge of the billing, registration, and transcription staff for 18 medical clinics and is our primary breadwinner (love that woman!!). I work as an evidence technician for a police department and am looking forward to retirement in about 900 days from now.

Our 2 sons and 6 daughters are spread out all over but that's OK because they came to us from all over. Two kids were new to us and the other six were pre-owned when we got them. One from Bolivia, three from Vietnam, one from Japan, and one was a local boy we found right here in the state of Washington. Six of them have so far produced 15 grandkids and two are yet to go into production. We start shopping for Christmas in late December. We're proud of all our kids but I confess to a special pride in our son who is a Navy corpsman and was with the first Marine forces to go into Afghanistan.

What a neat way to motivate kids! Wish I had thought of that.

Great family you have motivated there, we have a list that would go up to 60 some odd, abused children in 30 years most have made it some are still trying to find their place in this world.
We have twin girls only left that are working hard and college girls who are well motivated.
Good luck in your up coming retirement, hope the wife can join in soon, enjoy the forums and do post often.
