Hi, We're looking for a TV lift for the entertainment center that my husband is building for our Holiday Rambler. He's remodeling our 1999 Endeavor. We took out the sofa and planned a entertainment center in it's place but we have to find a TV lift that in the down position is only 24". Our problem is most of them are 27" and up. Does anyone know where we can get one this size at a reasonable price. Even if anyone knows how to make one that would help also.
Thanks

Welcome Lowsee to irv2.
Here is a link for lifts but may not be what you want as far as height goes but give it a try some other good information.

Hi Lowsee,

My name is Eric and I work for a company called Nexus21. We manufacture pro-grade TV lift systems and I believe we have 2 TV lifts that will work within the height restrictions in your Endeavor. I have added a link below to our website.

TV Lift Mechanisms - Nexus 21 TV Lifts

Model L-23 and L-27 are both very compact and seem like they are exactly what you're looking for. Feel free to give me a call if you have any questions about these TV lifts, i'd be happy to help. Thanks!

Thank you Eric for the info. I have already checked your site out before I posted this and it exactly what I need but it's a little out of my price range. We are on a limited income. My husband is building the entertainment center and I guess I was looking for some way to build a lift. Thank you so much for replying to my thread.

Lowsee,
I agree that's more money than I could spend to lift a TV. Have you considered going to the auto store and get some gas lift struts? Just like on a hatchback, they come in many lengths and DH can simply put a lock on the top of the shelf to keep it down when needed.
