Hello,
Currently I am looking at a 2001 Excel L35SEO, the dealer is giving me a sweet deal since this is the third trailer I have bought from them. Does anyone have any pics of this model, or any experience that they would like to share. I have done everything mostly over the phone with the dealer, so some specs would be nice; water heater size, etc. Would appreciate any general experience with Excel brand that you have.
Thanks,
Kevin

Kevin, welcome to iRV2.com. I am going to put in a shortcut to the Excel Owners forum to give you better exposure to those that will have the info you are looking for. Good luck and let us know of your decesion or if you have further questions.

Get the VIN number from the dealer then contact Peterson Industries...I'm sure they'll give you all the specs for that rig.

KevinZ,

Here are a few scanned pages from my owner's manual. Sorry about the quality, but couldn't get it any better.

One photo shows a kitchen view and the bath vanity and shower. The other a dinette and exterior view.

The specs are as followed:
Base wt: 13,210
Unloaded wt: 13,460
Hitch wt: 2,640
Payload: 3,640
Overall length: 36'5"
Fresh water: 58 gal
Gray cap: 55 gal
Black cap: 39 gal

Didn't list the HW size but either a 6 or 10, sure dealer can fill you in on those questions and other installed options.

I assume you will be looking and crawling around the unit before the purchase?

Hope something helped,

Chris
