Need some advice on this one.

Recently bought a 34 foot Pace Arrow and I own a MacGregor 25 foot sailboat. Also recently retired and want to hook up the boat and head for the Florida Keys. I am a TV and internet nut and want to have dependable service during my adventure and I am on a fixed income. Any suggestions? I am also talking about the sailboat.
Thanks in advance,

Hi and

Not sure what your budget is fixed at but Verizon's speed and quality of service has never let me down. I watch Hulu and Netflix mostly. They are about $10.00 each per month. Thousands of movies and hundreds of TV series from all the way back to McHale's Navy to the most current shows. I use FireTV at home and in the RV to and my iPad in places where I don't have access to a TV.

Fire TV has quite a few free apps that allow you to watch movies and TV shows but you are stuck watching commercials with the free apps.

I have 4 lines on Verzion (3 phones and the iPad) runs right at $300.00 per month. The iPad by itself is $80.00 but I think that's discounted due to the number of lines I have.

I'm sure others will have solutions at a lower cost.

Fire TV is a great device. You can do everything you want with the low end Fire Stick version. They are $39.00 to $49.00 on Amazon. The upper end version is $99.00, I think. The only difference between the two Fire Stick versions is the expensive one allows you to use voice control. I prefer touching buttons over talking to my remote.

I bought an extra Fire Stick to travel with. I plug it in to the back of the TV in hotel rooms. I may be addicted.

There are a number of good RV blogs that focus on mobile internet. Use Bing or Google and do a search. Welcome to iRV2
