Question Nervous Newbie from New England!

First off, I'd like to thank you all for welcoming me into your community. Buying your first RV is a very exciting and scary experience. We just purchased a 2004 Holiday Rambler Scepter PWD. It's beautiful! So beautiful that it seems to good to be true. Does anyone else in the iRV2 community own this model? I would welcome any feedback that you lovely folks have to offer.

Hello Lots2Learn,

Welcome to the forum. You came to the correct place for being new and scared. There are a lot of knowledgeable people here willing to assist you. At one point, we all were in your shoes.

At the top of the page, is a "Owner's Forum". You might want to go there and find the thread for your brand of rig. There you will find others with the same rig.

Otherwise, just a question. Did you purchase a water regulator and in-line water filter system? Reason? CG's (camp grounds) sometimes have higher water pressure than your rigs plumbing can take and you don't want to blow your plumbing. The water quality is sometimes not so good either. Just to keep your rig and you safe.

This is a fun hobby or way of life. In a year you will feel like an old hand at this. You'll still learn, but you'll be much more comfortable. At CG's, ask other campers about things. Start a conversation with someone and then ask a question about something you are not sure on. "Hey, how to you do _______?" Good way to find an answer.

Just enjoy your rig and have a great time camping. Lynne
