about to put 27+years military behind and do a long trip w/ our 2002 Minnie Winnie.

updating the interior as we go. dumping carpet for nice vinyl tile and taking out dinette for counter/computer area.

hard part is finding a tow dolly for our 2009 sonata. many choices but none in Montgomery AL.
cheers
don

Welcome SiteCR,
Thanks for your service. You have earned your retirement. I hope you have many enjoyable years ahead. Have you checked with Martin Ingram RV in Montgomery? If that dealership can't help you, one in the Birmingham area should be able to help. Also, there are Camping World's in Dothan and Anniston. They usually have tow dollys in stock.

Don ... congrats on the retirement. We hit the road in 2005 after 26 yrs AD with the AF, and we spend the holidays each year with our kids/grandkids in Montgomery. Ingram would be a good place to check, and I think there is also a Trailer World dealer about 8 mi south of the bypass on 231. (check www.trailerworldalabama.com)

Good luck on the search, and enjoy the adventure!

Thanks for tips on local RV service.
we'll keep checking with them.
one was out and other is checking on something in the range we're looking for.

We also have checked Montgomery RV.

Will be checking out the Dothan Camping world for some other stuff too.

we're taking 60-90days of traveling the US before having to go back to another job. don't know what yet but have an ailing mom we want to take care of.

what a great forum.
cheers
Don
