New and wondering if we belong

Hi Everyone I feel out of our league we just bought a 2012 15' Jayco my husband and I are testing the waters so to speak we love fishing and thought a travel trailer would be helpful. maybe this sight is more for the big bus type RVers. Mind you I have been reading up on how to get black streaks off awnings and some great recipes on this sight Just not sure if we should be on this sight or maybe there is another more suited for the occasional, smaller Rver Thanks if you can straighten me out. Sincerely Fishing Gran

Please feel free to stay. I read most of the threads for potential conversation use. I've been able to offer help or advice to a few of my co-workers from what I've learned here.
Most cleaning, repair, maintenance, etc. is the same for all RV types - even popups!
There are only a few brands of appliance makers, frame builders, axle/suspension makers, etc.
Check out a Jayco forum or two too.
I'm still active on a popup forum.

There is a Forum for Travel Trailers on this site. However, many of the systems and procedures are the same or similar. You may think it's the big buses forum but what you are seeing is all the retired guys with lots of time on their hands posting (LOL)

Stick around, you will find a lot of interesting stuff related to your situation as well as the Camping/RVing life in general.

This along with a lot of support!

Fishing Gran, give us a chance. There are a lot of great people here and can help in many ways. I feel certain you can help us! I have said it before and I say it now "Prevost to pop ups, they are all just campers!"

Hi Gran, welcome to the forum. If you're still breathing and have or interested in any form of camping or rv unit, then you belong. Bring you fishing gear and join us next week on the Tombigbee/Black Warrior River at Service COE in Alabama. Up from a tent, my first RV was a 15' Scotty with a small ice box (the kind you had to put ice in to cool it) and no bathroom. It was a great little trailer.

You are most certainly in the right place because you have an RV. Despite what you might've heard, size doesn't matter here. We're all here to help, get help &/or share tips, tricks & experiences. We're glad to have you join our family.
