New at Rving!

Hello -

We are Joe 7 Missy O'neil from Fairfield, Ohio Northe wast of Cincinnati. We have been toying with the idea of Class A RVing for about 9 years. We scheduled a 12 day rental from Billings MT through Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Jackson Hole and Cody WY.

A week before our trip we found a good used 2006 Georgetown 340 TS for sale by private owner. We wanted to take out trip to see if we lked the RV lifestyle, but felt we would misss a very good deal. We offered the owners a down payment to hold the rig until we finished our tripo, and if we like it, we would move forward on the deal, if we did not like what we experienced, we would not purchase it. They agreed and would return our downpayment if we decided to not purchase.

The trip was wonderful as we had our two teenage children and did alto ov activities; White water Rafting., ATV, Hike in the Tetons and of course, traveling the beartooth Highway by Class A RV.

Returned home and moved forward on our purchase. As we expected with a Private sale, there are a few things we need to fix or get repaired on rig that several years old, but low mileage. So... This is way we are here to see if others can assist with wat we are seeing as small bumps in the road to getting out Class A ready for a trip or two let this season and for years to come.

Welcome to the forum. Being that you went with a Georgetown by Forest Rivers you should check out the Forest River forums and join the Forest Rivers Owners Group (FROG) Both can help you with Georgetown specific items.
