Greetings all. I've been a lurker on this forum for a while now. Thought I had better join. We're not quite fulltimers yet, but getting there slow but sure.
We will be spending the full winter down south out of the cold and snow of Minnesota. Last year was brutal here.
We bought our 2006 Bounder from Lazy Days in April of this year. Traded in our Winnebago Sightseer.
We'll see you folks around!

Welcome to iRV2 & the Fleetwood family. We're glad to have you.
Sure wish we could be like you & head south for the winter, but we're still workin' folk. It seems like winter last longer & is colder the older I get.

I worked in construction for 35 years and I vowed that when I retired I wouldn't spend winters in MN again.
Thanks for the welcomes

It's been a good rig so far. No complaints at all. The first thing I did was to take out the old CRT TVs and replace them with LEDs. I am a carpenter by trade, so it was a fun little remodel.

Interesting. Your name is Brickhouse yet you were a Carpenter. LOL. There is a thread ongoing to explain your username. I look forward to seeing your post there. More importantly, I hope you live in So. Fla. ( winters ) and we become good friends as I will want to upgrade my Tv's soon.

I'll visit that thread and explain my forum name. Nothing too exciting or original.
Maybe you'll want to stop near Harlingen, TX for the TV upgrade. That's where we'll be most of this winter.

Hello Brickhouse:
Nice to have you along on the iRV2 site, and a BIG WELCOME !!
We're originally out of Duluth and hit the road full time after retiring back in 05. Sold the house and all the "stuff" and been on the road ever since. (Now residents of South Dakota, Lynette's home area of Mitchell). Have daughter and her family living up in Vadnais Heights, another daughter up in Brainerd, and our son (just retired from Air Force) living in Tampa, FL.
Yup, we too are refugees from the C O L D Minnesota winters, and haven't missed em to much.
Anyway, WELCOME again.
Steve & Lynette
