New... But in up to our eyeballs!

I've always wanted to be an RVer and now my dear Lisa and I have joined the club. We've purchased a 2007 Damon Outlaw 3611 and we couldn't be more excited.

We're both television producers so media (social and otherwise) is part of who we are. So naturally we started a blog and a Facebook page! But not as experts... because we're anything but that, but as newbies. This in the hope that people like me, who have waited far too long, might be motivated to end that wait.

We're so anxious, and a little terrified, to get on the road for the first time. Right now the Outlaw is getting some personalization in the form of a DirecTV dish, new tires, an inverter, solar panels, and every little nickel and dime accessory my reading is telling me I need.

I'd like to thank the good folks here at IRV2 for the wealth of information I've already received. Wish us luck!

Anthony and Lisa

You write like someone in media, too. Not all of us are so eloquent, we ask your forgiveness in advance. Welcome aboard, and the very best of luck with your adventures.

Digesting the wisdom lurking contained/available at irv2 is like drinking from a fire hydrant initially; then, it changes to just plain ol' drinking.

Seriously, I rely heavily on their expertise to keep us out of trouble. You'll enjoy every moment.

Thanks, and welcome to our blog! I've posted a few things but have so much more to document to catch me up to everything I've learned so far. Lisa hasn't posted yet but when she does it'll be more about the lifestyle and enjoyment stuff.

I appreciate the compliment and promise not to be too critical on the writing!

But seriously, as I've already written, I've embarked on a fair bit of learning in my day, and drinking from a firehose is a VERY accurate description of the past few weeks. Loving every bit of it though. Imagine when we actually PICK UP the RV!!!
