New... But Not Too New - LOL

Hi Guys and Gals

I look forward to participating on this forum.

Linda and I have decided to locate a good used RV. We're into boats too. I've been member of Trawler Forum since 2011 [same over-group as owns this forum].

Currently in procedure for purchasing a well cared for 1999 Fleetwood Bounder 28T. 40K miles, 454 engine, 3 yr. old Banks exhaust, 3rd yr. on fully recoated roof - both items professionally installed. Although plenty tread on tires I'll be putting new ones all around due to DOT age. Will also put new fluids and filters in everything as well as ck. all brakes and frontend/chassis joints. Hoses that are at all suspect will get new installed. Engine tune up too... if needed, it runs real well now.

Over oncoming years; we plan to travel thousands of miles visiting family and friends in various states on both coasts and in the mid west.

We've been searching/driving/reviewing used RV of different size and make for a few months. Years ago we had 1977 25' dodge class C. Hope this Bounder we are close to getting becomes reality. Interior is like new and layout is just what we want!

Plan to visit here often and use "search" for learning items that need answer... as well as post/ask questions on some threads.

Happy RV Daze! - Art

Welcome Art and Linda. It sounds like you have found a diamond in the rough.
For us too the number one has always been floor plan.

Happy Trails!
