Hi! Paul and I have had our 2011 Fleetwood Storm 28f for a month now. We still love it and wish we were able to take more trips. We have my 88 year old mother living with us and she has some serious memory problems (don't feel we can leave her for long).
But we now have our Dream road home and are enjoying playing with it. Now if I can just figure out what to use to wash/wax it (makes me glad it's only 28').
We are planning trips for the future, and look forward to tapping in all your combined experience to help us
We came from Popup Portal and had Popups for 8 years (tents before that).
Cheers and happy camping!

Heidi

A warm welcome Ms. H, a warm welcome.

Possible that 'Mom' can travel with you on short trips? Might do her a world of good?

Heidi,
Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new coach.

Sorry to hear your mother has memory problems. If you haven't you might want to start recording some of her earlier memories. With todays technology it isn't that hard or expensive.

As for waxing your coach we use Rejex. We use it on all surfaces that are not porous including the glass. It isn't cheap but a good coat will last up to a year depending on your weather conditions. You will probably get a lot of suggestions.

RejeX

As far as washing it we use Turtle Wax car wash soap.

Good luck
Jon

Hello Heidi, welcome to IRV2. Maybe relatives can sit with your Mom so you and the DH can have a weekend away. Good luck and safe travels.
