Thanks for having us. Just moved from a 2015 QuickSilver 6.0 pop up camper to a 1991 Rockwood 27 foot motor home.
The knees have given out and it has become a pain to get up and down setting up a trailer.
Additionally, I'm retired and my wife, Barb, will be in another year. We already have a trip to Kentucky on the drawing board and one to Texas.
The rig is old, but I am mechanically oriented. Having been both a Jaguar mechanic and computer network administrator, I have a diagnostic mind and a huge pile of tools.
It only has 21,000 miles on it. I know that can be more trouble than it's worth, but the elderly seller assured us that it wasn't neglected. They said they took many trips but seldom more than 100 to 150 miles from home.
I know we will have a lot of questions down the road, but for now I just have to figure out what sized generator I need. The PO said he never used it and when a friend's unit failed, he sold it off this outfit.
