New folks shopping for used MDT Freightliner

We are Don & Elaine Stover. We are fulltimeres and have been for 10 years. In the winter time we are in Las Cruces where I am the construction Superintendent with Habitat for Humanity. I do this for 7 months Oct - May and the other 5 months we go play.
We are looking to move up to a Freightliner MDT as our tow vehicle. We travel the USA and Canada and when we get into the hills of the west, my Ram 3500 (although modified) is just not up to the task. The truck has always done the job, but if we were ever in an accident, the insurance companies would eat us alive. So for safety and legal sake, we want to move up. The search has been long and tedious and so far fruitless.
We have been to Frieghtliner and MountainMaster in Phoenix and they are looking, but nothing yet. I'm a bit pickey in that I want a Cummins with 1000LBTQ and an allison 6 speed. Beyont that, most of these trucks are equiped with more stuff than I need but I will take what is available. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you in advance
