New Foretravel owner in Southeast Texas

Hi y'all. And since today is a very special birthday, Merry Christmas!

Between now and New Years day I will be taking possession of what will be my first motorhome, a 1994 Foretravel U-240 with under 50,000 miles. I have a lot to learn so please be patient.

I studied RV's religiously 4 or 5 years ago as I planned to buy one when I retired. I made up my mind I wanted a Foretravel, especially after I visited the factory in Nacadoches. When the time came I couldn't pull the trigger, and my wife and I bought and have been touring on a Honda GL1800 Goldwing instead. What a leap from a motorhome to a motorcycle!

Now I accidentally found this one last week when I wasn't even looking and discovered we still had the Foretravel bug. I'll be learning all I can on both this and another RV forum, and hope to meet you down the road.

Glen, welcome to iRV2. Ask any questions that you may have. We love those older Foretravels.

Check in on the Texas Boomers and see what we have going on in the way of rallies. Love to have y'all come.

Welcome to the forum and the F/T family.
Our 1st F/T was a 92 U-240 and we had lots of questions and this wasn't our 1st M/H. Feel free to ask someone out there will be able to help.
