Well I retired Thursday after 35.5 yrs with same co, I am so thankful for the blessing of my job.
my family has camped in tents, popup, hybrid, and full RV over the last 37 years of marriage, we both enjoy it.
we now plan to buy a type c mh, not over 28 ft in next 1-2 years, trade in our hybrid and tt o. A type c if it works out.
I appreciate this site and look forward to discussing type c mh's before we buy one.
thanks to all of you for your kind advise.

Rvtime2,

Welcome to the site.

I suppose the first question is...

How do you see yourself using the Class C?
Weekend trips?
Epic adventures criss-crossing America?
Full timing but staying in one place for extended periods?

Congrats on the retirement! We did it 3 years ago and enjoy every minute of it!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Hi,

I'd look at used units no older than five years. Research the 55% rule for length. What an exciting time you will have

our current plan is to keep our house so fulltiming not our plan.
mostly, 7 day trips to visit kids and take grandkids on trips during summer.
use with friends on fishing trips.

we would like to take a tour of us and maybe Canada, that will be our longest planned trip.

I have considered some work camping from time to time,if needed to supplement finances.
I have church work on weekends and now can expand during the week.

thanks

We bought a 2007 WB Access 29T, 31' long. We used it twice recently and like it. We have a lot to learn about driving it and towing our crv. We need to make some suspension improvements, but we have adequate storage and are staying within weight limits. I experienced my first visit to the truck scales, it was fun. They also have a really good high volume compressor that pumps up to 75 psig very quickly. We are learning alot of new things with this new to us RV. I want to thank you for your cordial welcome. Blessings and safe travels to all of you. Thanks in advance for sharing your wisdom, understanding and knowledge With us.
