new from Arizona

Hello Knowledgeable, experienced and valuable RV enthusiasts,
Now tell me, who wouldn't want to join a group like this?
Especially since I will shortly be in need of a support group just like this. I just cannot be the only one whose darling husband purchase a money pit rrrrrrrrrrrh I mean vintage class B.
Just returned from a two week "Shake-down trip" covering over a thousand miles and made it home surprisingly intact. Oh sure, there were a few minor problems with the RV but nothing that time and capital will not resolve. Overall it was a marvelous trip that didn't involve towing.

Just hoping to find how to iron out a few glitches here.

Hello July,

Welcome to the Forum! You have definitely come to the right place. Buying "Vintage" isn't all bad, these rigs were well made and depending on how the PO (previous owner) took care of it they are sometimes in amazingly good shape.

So, you need a little support. Send your husband and yourself to the "Vintage RV" thread under "Forums". You post a picture of your rig and info here as well as questions.

When you signed up you should have filled in some info on your rig. Chassis, engine, gas, diesel, brand, model #, length, anything it asks. If you did not do that, do yourself a favor and go back and do it. It helps those that you ask a specific question to answer more accurately.

Then under "Owner's Forum" you find your thread and go there for help to answers also.

Under the "Search" part of this site you can enter a question and probably find an old thread about what you want to know. There is a wealth of information in old threads.

So July, go over to "Vintage Rv's" and post a thread about your rig. Post a picture or 12 of it and let's see if we can answer those questions for you. This is a great group of people and they are willing to help.

Hope to see you in future posts. I will look for you there. Lynne

there really are lifeforms out there!

Certainly, was not thinking I'd get an answer to my post so very soon, a detailed one at that. Thanks, Lynne.
I'll get to work on the rig's profile as soon as can I find my way about in these forums. I guess I should take a few pix of it; it is not pretty yet but we are working on that. Also need to ask the hubby what is under the hood, or doghouse as he calls it. I'll try to post by week's end.

Welcome to iRV2

For info on posting pictures , go to the " FAQ" drop box in the dark blue bar under the Google search box.

Remember there are no stupid questions ; unless it's the one you don't ask and it ends up adding to the capital outlay .
I spend 5 1/2 months in the Parker area every winter , to hot in AZ for me now.

Lynne & Jerry, Skip 426, Bill & Laurie, Joe & Annette,
thank you very much for the warm welcome and all posting information. How do you find the time?

It certainly looks like I have my work cut out for me. Let's see, take pictures, develop a byline, triage the RVs many quirks, become a bit more computer savvy… Well better get to it!
