New from BC Canada
Hi all! New to this forum and excited to learn! We bought a new to us 2008 Jayco 31BHDS G2 TT and plan to live in it while being close to family on Vancouver Island from January-June. Who knows after that! Gypsy tendencies abound!

Welcome to the irv2 gang and congrats on your 2008 Jayco purchase! Glad you decided to join up!
Just a note if you haven't found it: there's an Owners Forum menu option at the top of the page. Under that section is a Jayco owners forum. And, search options (generally at the top of the page) are on almost every web page.
Good luck and enjoy!

Congrads.
1/ if you are going to the Island go thru Anacortes in Washington state to Sydney near Victoria, half the price than B.C. ferries.
2/ Check out the Riverbend rv and cabins in Parksville. Good price and sheltered, also dog friendly.
3/ Enjoy you winter, there is lots to do on the Island.

Thanks everyone! We've taken the TT on a week long trek over the border to Washington and Idaho and found her very livable! Even took our son's Bearded Dragon, Rango, with us (which totally stumped the US border guards!) The dogs thought it was the funnest thing ever, and our almost 12 year old son, the last of our 5 kids still at home, loved his new TT room in the back slide. I personally am in love with this TT and can't wait to move in! 3 of our 5 are in the Campbell River/Courtenay area on the Island, and I grew up in Campbell River. My folks are there too, and my brother and his family. We are looking at RV parks this month on a trip over to take the TT over before heading to our trapline on the BC/Yukon border. Anyone have any thoughts on the few in the area? I'm liking the sound of the Salmon Point one, but as our son will be enrolling at a 'real' school for the first time (we homeschool) in January, and it will be a private one where his BIL teaches in Comox, we are thinking something closer would work better. Bates? Seal Point? Any one have any experience with them? Thanks!-Sue
