Hubby and I have been RVing since our 30-year-old daughter was in diapers. We've gone from a 17' fiberglass Canadian-made Boler, to a 20' Prowler TT that leaked, to a 30' Alpenlite 5th wheel, to our current 30' Alpenlite 5th wheel with 2 slides. We have never had problems with either Alpenlite.
We've traveled in various parts of Alberta, B.C. and Saskatchewan in Canada; and throughout Oregon, Washington, a bit in Idaho, Montana and Wyoming.
We still travel to Calgary about every 3 years because we still have lots of family and friends there. Our most recent trip was this May and June to Montana and Wyoming.
Hubby still has several years before retirement so we're limited to weekends and 3-week vacations.
The best piece of advice I can give the novice is to attend a Life on Wheels seminar. We attended one in Moscow, Idaho and it was the best week we spent. They teach you everything you ever wanted to know about RVing, and in a fun way.
The reason I joined this forum is because I enjoy researching new places to visit. I also enjoy helping others with information that I may know.
