New from CA and AZ

Greetings, new to this forum. Might as well add another "change" to the several others going on. July 1st, we move from Walnut Creek, CA to Tucson, AZ and become full-time "retirees". Close on this house next week, bought in Tucson 5 years ago. Currently, still enjoying our 27 ft. 5th W (Terry Quantum), which has been wonderful for our mostly long week-ends at CA state parks and beaches. The search soon begins for a used 32-34 ft. DP probably of '02-'07 vintage. Current plans are summers on the road, (rather than living in the swimming pool), guess that will make us part-time, full-timers. I look forward to picking some forum brains when it comes to making that up-grade to a DP. I've narrowed the candidate list (somewhat), so just a matter of finding the near perfect, clean, low mileage DP, with a motivated seller. Hello from Vince , Pat , and "Carrie" (well that is her call name).

Welcome to irv2, Vince & Patricia. Lots has been written here on DP's, gas vs diesel, etc., so look around (Search function). And of course, feel free to ask questions.

November update, the '04 Terry and '04 Dodge 2500 are on a consignment lot in Phoenix. We made the move from 5th Wheel to DP. New (to us) is an '06 Winnebago Journey 32T with 25k miles. I probably would have gone for the 34H or 36G, but Pat thinks we will fit into more state parks and Nat'l Forest campgrounds with the short rig...so everyone is happy with the new toy.
