I'm looking at getting a '75 Winnebago Brave D19 with a re-built 318 w/ less than 15k miles on it. 4 barrel carburetor, and headers. It has the dodge chassis. It's been in this family since new, and comes with the original manuals and reciepst for everything ever done to it! Has a newer larger fridge. Newer heater, and air-conditioner. It has a nice Honda Generator (3500 watt I think). It has the awning on the side. Has a c.b. radio and some newer gauges (oil pressure and temp). A toggle switch to control the aux. fuel pump, with a light so you don't leave it on and drain the battery. It needs a little work, but has been cared for. Mainly new fabric on the cushions, and some sprucing and cleaning up. It's been sitting for 4-5 years. They claim it gets between 9-14 mpg. Looking at trading my truck for it. We'll see. Meeting with him tomorow! Wish me luck!

Good luck! Sounds like a great opportunity to get into RVing. Be sure to check out the "Vintage RV" board for lots of good advice.

Thanks for all the friendly welcomes! I've been reading through the vintage r.v. forum, and am glad it's here. The forum on classicwinnebagos seems to not be very active. And being my first mh, I'll be asking some questions (after searching first lol).

The trade got postponed till thursday, but I'm really hoping I can get it. Looking forward to doing some work on it! Even a well maintained '75 motor home is bound to need some things done to her. That much I'm certain of.

I tried posting a pic, but it didn't work

Thanks again for the welcomes!
