We won't be camping that weekend but maybe we can drop by and say hello. Let us know what site you are on.

Hi folks! Thought we might get out there today but Annette wasn't feeling well. do you think you will be around maybe around 3PM or so tommorrow? By the way, be happy you didn't go to Dewayne Hayes. I just talked to a friend out there who told me the power is out to the entire campground!

Well, we can't win for losing! Annette got up this morning with a bad headache and went on the church even though she didn't really feel like it. We're just gonna stay in and stay cool this afternoon so she can hopefully get over the headache. Hope you won't think we are not anxious to meet you guys, it's just that we keep running into these unexpected delays. Let's keep in touch

Thanks, we appreciate your understanding. By the way, what kind of internet access do you use? We are looking at the Mi-Fi through Cellular South but can't find anyone using it to get a review. We won't spend a lot of time on the internet when we travel, just checking e-mail and FB a couple of times a day, maybe browsing the RV websites some.

When we are camping, I just use my phone, leave the computer at home unless we are traveling somewhere. I have a HTC Evo with Sprint cell service, so it is hit and miss for a signal. I have the fb app and the irv2 app on my phone as well as email, so I am good to go.

Joe,

How does Verizon's coverage compare to Cellular South's? I know that at my folks' cabin on Tibbee Creek, there's a signal for CS but not for AT&T or Sprint (or a marginal signal for Sprint in some places on the property).

My aunt and uncle, who live next to my folks' cabin, have CS cell phone service.

The Verizon coverage map shows coverage in that area. Right now, the cabin has wireless internet from the aunt and uncle's house, thanks to a souped up router and repeater. Better than nothing, but it sometimes leaves a lot to be desired. If Verizon Mifi works where the fifth wheel will be in the Homochitto National Forest area, I'm hoping it will also work up on Tibbee Creek.

Never used Verizon, but tried Sprint and AT&T. AWFUL
We have really been happy with Cellular South. We've been able to talk just about anywhere we've been is MS, Tennessee, Alabama, and North Carolina.
