Hello, we are new members from Las Cruces, NM. We left home on March 27th and won't return until the first of December. We are currently in Utah with stops planned for Wy and MT before crossing into Canada around the middle of May. Our goal is Northpole, AK where we will spend the summer and fall, departing around Oct 1. We will visit Colorado, Nebraska, Missouri and Ill before arriving home towards the end of Nov. We are renting our home while we are gone, which helps with expenses and upkeep of the yard etc. We drive a Newmar Mountainaire towing a Jeep Cherokee. This site looks like it is very active and informative.

Capt Jack it is good to see another Las Cruces person on this site. Welcome, this is a good place to hang out. We are holding up here until the end of the summer. We are taking care of the 6 yr old grandaughter while our daughter does a tour in Iraq. She is scheduled to return soon and we will be on the road and playing a little bluegrass music.

We are currently in Richfield, UT. Next week we will be in Manti, then on to the Salt Lake area for about 2 weeks.

Welcome, Capt. Jack. Sounds lilke a good time!

Watch that fall weather in Northpole/Fairbanks area. They have been known to get their first snow in September some years.
